These outreach sessions promote improved practices in hygiene, feeding, disease prevention, including HIV/AIDS focus on stigma and discrimination and health-seeking behaviour, reaching approximately 1,200 community members directly, with wider indirect impact. This project is led by Waida Julie who is the health Coordinator

Probation Outreach Sessions:
After the beginner training (modul 1), the 16 trainees immediately enter a two or three-month probation period (internships) and beyond applying their learning as a prerequisite for advanced training. The purpose of this activity is to ensure the trainees deepened their understanding and capability to deliver key health and nutrition messages on a wide range of topics. The meetings and activities are conducted by the 16 trainees themselves, with supervision from CEAFoT. The direct effect is the trainees’ development of key messages for all subjects, which demonstrated their growing capacity and readiness to serve as certified CEAFoT Nutrition Workers in community awareness campaigns.

Key activities included:

  • Mobilizing and guiding 16 participants for conducting probation outreaches.
